My name is Anthony. I'm 30 years old and a hardcore gamer. I have the world's greatest wife and son. My friends are my life so if you cross them you cross me, which would be a shame considering I'm usually very easy going and not hard to get along with. I'm not much of a party person. I prefer to hang out with friends or sometimes go to a bar and shoot pool.
As of right now I'm working full-time within the IT Industry. You can usually find me working, at school, or sleeping at home. I can be random at times and unpredictable but I guess that's a good thing considering most people tell me that's when I'm funny. I have a lot of patience but a low tolerance for stupid, especially if the person chooses to be that way. I guess that's why I get pissed at myself from time to time. :D

I've tried, I honestly have, but my artistic skill with both pencil/paper and digital have barely improved. It's frustrating, and I know it takes time. I just wish that it came as easy to me as it does to others, or even as easy as computers to me. People seem to like my writing though, so I think I will at least stick to, and continue to work on that. This way I can at least be an active part of group I joined involving Pokemon called "The IPL". It's filled with a multitude of wonderful people of various ages and walks of life. It's always interesting to see what creative things the members come up with next... and don't even get me started

Staying Busy

At lot has happened between the last time I posted here and now. Mostly for the good, for once. Current job demands 40+ hours, on top of starting a Gaming Channel on Youtube and updating my personal one. I'm still practicing drawing (getting slightly better at anatomy), along with writing every now and then, so I haven't given up on that despite being so busy. That has led to a bit of inactivity on this site though.
I decided to start my Gaming Channel for a few reasons, mostly because I wanted to share experiences, provide informative reviews to fellow players, or even create helpful guides; but there was one project I wanted to start more

Practice Makes Perfect

I've noticed a reoccurring critique in my work, mostly involving dynamics. I'm told to consider better poses, lighting, shading, etc. Every single person who says such things are absolutely right. The problem is it terrifies me. I'm not a very good artist to begin with, but I also know that I won't get any better if I don't try. I look all over DeviantArt and see all of these wonderful ideas and pieces. I just sit back in my chair and go "Wow... I'd love to make something like that!" Who knows, maybe someday I just might.
